I was searching for something more to assist me with my healing journey. I knew I needed to heal from
my past. Somehow, I knew I needed to experience something else other than my self-help books and
counselling. Nothing really spoke to me like the day I was introduced to Training in Power.

Once I learned about Training in Power, I was on a mission to have a teacher come to Calgary and in 1995 the
first Level I class was taught in Calgary. In that class, I learned how to work with my energy systems, be
shielded, and step out of my emotions to be healthy and oh so much more. All in an active style of
meditation, that assists with focus and retention for your meditation practice. It is all about you, and
what your needs are.

I started teaching in 2001. I now work at my art practice, as Workshop presenter with the Academy
Meetup Program, Student Meeting Lead and continue to teach Level I. This work has allowed me to
experience the gift of healing every day, helping others and how to stand in the light with a joy and
passion for life I am so grateful for.
