I feel fortunate to have been called to the healing arts very early in life—right there in the window box where I opened my bird hospital at the age of 3!

In healing practices since 1995, I have extensive areas of training in biodynamic cranialsacral and cardiovascular therapies, dreamwork and the archetypal language of the body, myofascial unwinding, intuitive and integrative deep tissue massage, injury work, trauma recovery, somato-emotional release, prenatal/Birthing Doula work, Training in Power Academy work, Acupoint Aromatherapy, ayurvedic and pranayama practices and The NIA Technique. Some of the approaches that most inspire me as I approach the table, if you will, are Chinese 5 element theory, SOMA, Network Spinal Analysis, ayurvedic dosha and Body Ecology nutrition, QiGong, Engaged Buddhism, Palliative care/ Death Doula support  and radical self-care.

I have a profound gratitude for the lineage of excellence I found in my Teachers: Dr. Vasant Lad @ The Ayurvedic Institute, Dr. John Giannini @ Chicago Jung Institute, Brian Utting and his esteemed School of Massage, Dr. Bruno Ducoux, Dr. Hugh Milne and Dr. Michael Shea—pioneers in osteopathy/cranial sacral work, the incomparable Faye Fitzgerald and Training in Power Academy, Debbie Rosas @ The NIA Technique, Peter Holmes, Master Herbalist/LAc and Tiffany Pollard, Lac and Acupoint Aromatherapy, Dr. Louisa Williams, ND and her Matrix Reflex Testing method and last but perhaps the first, the Venerable Master Thich Nhat Hanh and his Plum Village Monastery. Alongside the Animal Kingdom and Divine Love, I see them as generous contributors to my own wellness which, like most things, is best shared.

I serve on the Faculty of Training in Power Academy and am an ordained Minister and Spiritual Counselor. I enjoy the honor of supporting beings in times of transition: birth, wedding/commitment ceremony, hospice and death.

With a deep commitment to walking my talk, my practice begins at home where I am nourished by the creative, culinary, martial and meditative arts and by my pure-hearted canine mentors, Helig and Moksha.
